When the journeys are too long but they don’t bother, when the destination is far enough but it does the justice, when the lifestyle is too raw but it still holds tight, a traveler’s lust is contented.

The Spiti Story: An affair to behold (Part 1)

The time and spacial coordinates of our existence keep on changing constantly. And the idea of turning those coordinates into a justified graph sounds like a worthy plan to me. A design worth checking out later on when you are old and tired enough to finally settle down, taking a sip of coffee in your home’s garden, doing a revision of the mighty life you have spent in all those long years.

Spiti Series – Day 4 : In the abode of Buddhism!

Om Mani Padme Hum

In dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.

We decided to visit the crowd-less monasteries and get closer to the vibrant Buddhist culture.

Spiti Series – Day 2 : Journey from Batal to Kaza – Adventures in the Trans-Himalaya!

Spiti Series – Day 2 : Journey to Kaza – Into the thin air!

A tent perched at 14,000 ft, watching the milky way galaxy and siting on the meadows encircling the turquoise blue water, Isha and I were living a dream. We spent more than a day at Chandrataal, but it felt so less. Our body had coped with the thin air all around and we both were geared up for Day 2. Our expectations from Spiti had raised.
