If one loves to explore the untrodden path and hates being a follower, especially while on a vacation, then one must check out the amazingly hidden destinations on the next road trip to Goa. There is much more to Goa than the standard fare that is generally offered to any tourist who visits this magnificent holiday capital that the entire world is proud of. Goa is blessed with an abundance of sun and sand, but it goes much beyond this. Mesmerising waterfalls, serene rivers, national parks, caves and forts, Goa has it all.
And then every place silently brags about the stories that were created on its territorial land. A famous personality who might had visited, a major historical event that had occurred, a miracle it had encountered or the birth of a legend it had seen.

Chitkul is that one place where I wish to settle down or take a sabbatical and live for years. So clean, green and beautiful, and beyond to be compared with any other place. Instagramers refer to it as India’s most picturesque village and I second that. It is a village that conceives nature in the most magical state. Valley with green and sky with blue hues, white waters, stones & pebbles, trees and unadulterated air. The mountains look unrealistically beautiful and some peaks are covered with snow. It’s a place where my drawing book fantasies turn true.

Udaipur is a cultural insight into the deep lanes of Rajasthan. A storehouse of traditions and royal heritage, it is also known as the city of lakes. Where in these modern times, we hardly find any historical preservations of our lifestyle, Udaipur has somehow managed to keep its originality intact. The forts, the palaces, grand interiors, handlooms and handicrafts, every bit of Udaipur is a display of royal lineage.

Deviated from the league of other hill stations of Himachal Pradesh, Kinnaur is a paradise located around 235 kms from Shimla. The green haven puts its adorning features on display as chiseled perfectly. Rain washed, untouched and fresh spaces, delicious scarlet red apple orchards and narrow lanes where trees join themselves from opposite ends, exploring Kinnaur through the eyes of a traveler is angelic.
